Oil production, dead skin cells, clogged pores, and bacteria are the main causes of pimple development (although yeast infection can also cause pimples to develop). Because hormone dysregulation can cause sebaceous glands, which are found at the base of hair follicles, to become overactive, acne is typically associated with puberty and flares up around menstruation.
Due to the proliferation of sebaceous glands in these areas of skin, the face, back, chest, and shoulders are the most likely parts of the body to be affected by pimples. Acne is indicated by pimples, particularly during a breakout.
Blackheads, whiteheads, zits, oily skin, and sometimes scarring are the hallmarks of acne. The appearance that results can cause anxiety, low self-esteem, and in severe situations, suicidal thoughts or depression.

SYMPTOMS OF PIMPLES
There are numerous varieties of pimples, and each has its own set of symptoms and indicators.
Whiteheads: a closed comedo is another name for them. These tiny papules, which resemble tiny pieces of flesh, stay beneath the skin.
Another name for blackheads is an open comedo. These are readily noticeable on the skin’s surface and are dark brown or black in colour as a result of melanin, the pigment that makes up the skin. Because of their colour, some people mistakenly think that they are the result of dirt, so they scrub their faces a lot, which doesn’t help and could irritate their skin further.
Papules are round, solid, and tiny lumps that protrude from the skin. Usually, the lumps are pink.
