PIMPLE

A tiny pustule or papule is called a pimple. Small skin lesions or inflammations known as pimples arise from clogged and infected sebaceous glands (oil glands), which result in swollen, red, pus-filled lesions on the skin’s surface. Spots and zits are other names for pimples.
Oil production, dead skin cells, clogged pores, and bacteria are the main causes of pimple development (although yeast infection can also cause pimples to develop). Because hormone dysregulation can cause sebaceous glands, which are found at the base of hair follicles, to become overactive, acne is typically associated with puberty and flares up around menstruation.

Due to the proliferation of sebaceous glands in these areas of skin, the face, back, chest, and shoulders are the most likely parts of the body to be affected by pimples. Acne is indicated by pimples, particularly during a breakout.
Blackheads, whiteheads, zits, oily skin, and sometimes scarring are the hallmarks of acne. The appearance that results can cause anxiety, low self-esteem, and in severe situations, suicidal thoughts or depression.

SYMPTOMS OF PIMPLES

There are numerous varieties of pimples, and each has its own set of symptoms and indicators.

Whiteheads: a closed comedo is another name for them. These tiny papules, which resemble tiny pieces of flesh, stay beneath the skin.

Another name for blackheads is an open comedo. These are readily noticeable on the skin’s surface and are dark brown or black in colour as a result of melanin, the pigment that makes up the skin. Because of their colour, some people mistakenly think that they are the result of dirt, so they scrub their faces a lot, which doesn’t help and could irritate their skin further.

Papules are round, solid, and tiny lumps that protrude from the skin. Usually, the lumps are pink.

Pustules are pimples that contain pus. On the skin’s surface, they are easily seen. The pus is on top and the base is red.
Nodules: larger than papules, they share a similar morphology (structure). They are deeply embedded in the skin and can be quite painful.
Cysts: these are readily noticeable on the skin’s surface. They are typically painful and filled with pus. Scars are often caused by cysts.
HOMOEOPATHIC APPROACH
A person is treated holistically in homoeopathy. It implies that in addition to the patient’s pathological condition, homoeopathic treatment emphasises the patient as a person. Following a thorough individualising examination and case analysis that takes into account the patient’s physical and mental constitution, medical history, and other factors, the homoeopathic medicines are chosen. When treating chronic conditions, a miasmatic tendency—a predisposition or susceptibility—is frequently taken into consideration. The medications listed below show their therapeutic affinity; however, this is by no means an exhaustive and definitive guide to using homoeopathy to treat acne. Since general symptoms and constitutional indications are also considered when choosing a remedy in homoeopathy, the symptoms listed against each medicine may not be directly related to this disease.Antimonium crudum, Asterias Rubens, Belladonna, Hepar Sulphur, Calcarea Silicata, Nux vomica, Arsenicum iodatum, Causticum, Chelidonium majus, Graphites, Psorinum, Sabina, Calcarea phosphoricum, and Thuja are among the more effective remedies for acne.
